Sign Photos: Figure 2c


This sign located at the junction of P?hoa village and the Kea‘au-P?hoa Highway 130 marks the glottal, but uses a different symbol from the one used in the previous photo. Instead, it employs a reverse apostrophe with the ball on the top rather than on the bottom, as in the typographically correct ‘okina. This is the symbol used by Okina Consulting, as described in the article.
