This year’s recipients for the New Millennium Book Award, given by the Society of Medical Anthropology, were Charles L. Briggs & Clara Mantini-Briggs. They received the award for their book: Tell Me Why My Children Died: Rabies, Indigenous Knowledge, and Communicative Justice (Duke 2016).
